The 47th Annual Basalt Half Marathon & 2-Person Relay will return again this year on Saturday June 1st 2024. This course is one of the fastest in Colorado with a consistent gradual drop of 1000' as it parallels the beautiful Frying Pan River. The 2 person Relay is a 6.1 mile and 7 mile legs Half Marathoners and first leg relay runners will be bused to the start. Second leg relay will be bused to exchange zone and first leg runners will then be bused to finish line. This event serves as a fundraiser for the local High School Cross Country Program.
