Silver Comet Half Marathon - Mableton (Usa/Georgia)
The "Silver Comet Half Marathon" is presented by The Get Fit Atlanta Marathon / Triathlon Club and Training Program. The event proceeds benefit numerous community and school running programs. The "Silver Comet Half Marathon" is the only half marathon on the Silver Comet Trail in Cobb County, Atlanta's hottest running, cycling and family use trail! The Silver Comet Trail is paved on the abandoned railroad of the southeast that travels from Cobb County, Georgia to the Alabama State line. No need to worry about cars or hills. The course is one of the fastest and flattest courses to race on while taking in the beauty of trees arching over the path.
