Reggae Half Marathon - Negril (Jamaica)
Jamaica's "Reggae Half Marathon" begins at Long Beach Park, along Norman Manley Boulevard into the town of Negril and back, past Long Bay Beach Park towards Bloody Bay, and then back to the finish at Long Bay Beach Park. The IAAF Certified course runs almost parallel to Negril's famed seven mile white sand beach and is mostly flat and fast. Live reggae music in addition to mobile sound machines entertain runners with the best of reggae music along the course. Runners enjoy uniquely packaged water and hydration fluids, and the "world's best pasta party", among other goodies, included in their package.
